RAI1 aired its program "Dieci minuti di…" on the 4th of June, 11.00, a 10 minute space dedicated to current social-cultural events managed by the TSP.
During the show, Giorgio Pagano, Secretary of the ERA, spoke about linguistic democracy and protecting the Italian language, and for this the association already has a series of services availabe http://www.centopercentoitaliano.it.
Together with the Secretary of the "Esperanto" Radical Association were other guests: Prof. Maria Catricalà, linguistics professore at the Roma Tre University, and the youngest author of Esperanto Grammar, Amira D’Apote.
During his speech, Giorgio Pagano focused on the problem of the English hegemony that is contaminating all the other languages and cultures of the world, which, among these, there is also the steady dissapearance of the Italian language in Switzerland.
Prof. Catricalà spoke about the danger our language is going through, and she added her concerns for our large and varied cultural heritage. Amira D’Apote concluded confirming that there is some "concrete" space in Democracy that could offer the rise of the International Language, also known as Esperanto.
